About the Role:
Seeking Paralegal to work alongside our Legal Director. You will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal support to a dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation, following a recent Series A fundraise. 

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team and have the autonomy to learn and progress in the role, as well as playing an integral part in GHT’s strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting GHT’s legal team and fellow colleagues with legal requests and queries, to successfully develop, grow and run the business;
  • Leading document management and other administrative tasks for the legal team;
  • Review legal agreements, such as NDAs and commercial contracts with suppliers and partners;
  • Preparing, updating, amending and negotiating legal documentation;
  • Supporting GHT’s international expansion and helping to launch and grow in new markets;
  • Putting in place and actively seeking new scalable processes to support the legal team;
  • Assisting with drafting, planning, and implementing internal policies and procedures; and
  • Support with corporate governance and company secretarial matters, including Board and shareholder processes and Companies House filings. 

 

About you:

 We are looking for a bright, ambitious, enthusiastic and experienced paralegal with the following qualities and skills:

  • A law degree or equivalent qualification;
  • Experience as a paralegal (whether in private practice or in-house) desirable;
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail;
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • A high level of independence, initiative, and decisiveness;
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn fast, and take responsibility;
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once;
  • The ability to work independently and also contribute successfully to cross-functional teams;
  • The ability to manage large amounts of documents, as well as seek out new technological solutions to make the legal team’s processes and functions more efficient; and
